Any serious modeller would do good in investing in both types. The liquid type is applied on both contact surfaces and should be left for half a minute or so to let the glue react to the plastic. The two parts are then put together, preferably under pressure and are left to dry. While drying the glue "welds" the two parts together and a almost seamless and very strong bond is created. you will have a
